# Packing Your Garment Safely

1. **Gather materials**
   - Poly or zip bag - Tissue/bubble wrap - Sturdy mailing bag/box - Packing tape - A blank note or index card.
2. **Prepare the garment**
   - Remove pins unless you chose the *Pinned/Chalked* method.
   - Fasten zips & buttons; fold neatly.
3. **Add the order-number note**
   - Write **“iSeam.uk – Order #12345”** on the card.
   - Pin or tape the note **to the garment** *and* **to the outside of the parcel** (anywhere visible).
4. **Wrap & seal**
   - Wrap the item in tissue or light bubble wrap.
   - Slide into a clean poly bag to guard against moisture.
   - Place inside a strong mailing bag or box and tape all seams.
5. **Ready for shipping**
   - Double-check the order number on both the garment note and the parcel note.
   - Keep the tracking receipt—insurance starts once the parcel is scanned by your chosen carrier.
