# When a Garment Is Unsuitable for Repair

Some items can’t be repaired to a safe or quality standard. Orders will be declined or cancelled if the garment has:

| **Issue** | **Why we can’t accept** |
| --- | --- |
| **Severe fabric rot / dry-rot** | Stitching won’t hold; fabric tears further. |
| **Heavy mould or bio-contamination** | Health risk to tailors and shipping handlers. |
| **Large oil, chemical or paint stains** | Cleaning is specialist work, not tailoring. |
| **Synthetic PU leather flaking** | Material disintegrates; patches won’t bond. |
| **Missing major sections (e.g., half a sleeve)** | Requires re-manufacture, not repair. |
| **Fire or melt damage** | Fibres are weakened beyond stitching. |

**What happens if you send one anyway?**

- Tailor marks **Job Failed (Customer Issue) – Returned**.
- Item is shipped back; **10 % admin fee + return postage** deducted from refund.

**Unsure?**

Upload clear photos in the order form and mention *“Is this repairable?”*—Support will confirm before you ship.
