# Turnaround Times for Popular Services

Turnaround clocks start when the tailor marks **Item Received** in your order timeline.

| **Service** | **Standard Turnaround** | **Notes** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Shorten hem** (trousers, skirts) | **6–7 working days** | Includes pressing & quality check. |
| **Take in / let out waist** | **7–8 working days** | Add one day if lining must be opened. |
| **Taper trousers or sleeves** | **8–9 working days** | Full-leg or full-sleeve tapers take longest. |
| **Replace zipper** | **7–8 working days** | Leather adds one extra day. |
| **Re-stitch seam / minor repair** | **5–6 working days** | Simple fix, no pressing needed. |
| **Leather or suede alteration** | **9–11 working days** | Requires specialised machines & hand-finishing. |
| **Formal / wedding dress adjustments** | **11–14 working days** | Detailed hand work; tailor may request additional fittings. |
| **Multiple services on one garment** | Add **+1 day** per extra service | e.g. shorten + taper = 3–4 days total. |
